Hey everyone. I'm Jake the Flare, and I really enjoy art, mainly drawing and doing digital art. I like to create my own characters and settings, animations, and sometimes fan projects of various video games and tv shows that I enjoy. I sometimes like to post artwork that I want to receive constructive criticism from other Deviants and help make them better. Hello everyone, Jake The Flare here for a really important, and unfortunate status update. It pains me to say this, but I have decided to deactivate my Deviantart account. Just spent a lot of years on Deviantart, and I've lost a meaning for it is all. I'm kind of getting burned out with scrolling around to see what's new, and I don't feel like that my artwork is getting as much recognition as they should. For all of my followers, I'm giving you all a week to download any of my submissions that you have enjoyed over the years, then everything will be gone with my account. I just wanna say thank you to all of my supporters and fellow artists that I have followed over the years, and it's been a good run. This is Jake The Flare, snuffing out.

What's up everyone? Jake the Flare here! How was everybody’s weekend? Mine was pretty good considering that I finally got to go see “The Super Mario Bros. Movie!” The movie was pretty cool, I really liked how they did all the video game references and remixes of the music. I mean, sure there were only a few holes. They could’ve done a little better with character development, for one, and I had a few questions about the ending, which I will not bring up for the sake of being spoiler free. Overall, I think the movie did well, and it was worth the wait since that first teaser back in October. Hope that everybody else who saw the movie enjoyed it, and feel free to leave your thoughts and opinions in the comments section. This is Jake the Flare, singing off!
